If you have books you would like to donate to the Bookbike, we can pick them up and take them directly to the Bookbike. We are mainly looking for paperbacks, specifically science fiction and westerns (right now we're fully stocked for mysteries and romance), general nonfiction (no textbooks), cookbooks, children's and teen books and books in Spanish.

Become a Volunteer
If you love books and riding a bike we can use you as a volunteer! Bookbike volunteers ride their own bike along with the Bookbike and give away free books and chat with folks about reading. Books on Wheels volunteers select books monthly for homebound customers - this is done from the comfort of your own home computer.

Become a Bike Ambassador
If you want to actually ride the Bookbike or deliver books to Books on Wheels customers, consider becoming a Bike Ambassador. Preference given to those with LCI certification and/or those who have taken a bike safety course. Most importantly is a love of riding bikes and feeling comfortable interacting with the community.
